Liposuction In Miami, FL

(310) 970-2940 | Beverly Hills | Miami

One of the most common cosmetic frustrations that men and women have is unwanted fat. Pockets of subcutaneous fat can severely affect the way you look and can cause many people to feel self-conscious about their appearance, especially when they are out at the pool or on the beautiful Miami beaches.

While diet and exercise can definitely help you achieve a more contoured figure, these methods cannot get rid of all unwanted fat. The only way to remove deposits of stubborn fat is through cosmetic procedures. And the most versatile and trusted of all fat-removing procedures is liposuction.

Dr. Hadeed performs liposuction in Miami, Florida.

What Can Liposuction Achieve?

Liposuction is a minimally invasive cosmetic surgery that removes unwanted fat from various areas of the body (including the abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms, back, and neck).

With liposuction surgery, you can achieve smoother, firmer body contours that can allow you to feel more comfortable and confident in your appearance. Additionally, you can look forward to wearing the clothes (including bikinis and bathing suits) that you’ve always wanted.

There are many liposuction techniques available to help you achieve your cosmetic goals. During your consultation, Dr. Hadeed will address your concerns, explain the details of your procedure, and determine a plan to suit your aesthetic needs.

How Is Liposuction Performed?

As with any plastic surgery or cosmetic treatment, the most important step of your liposuction journey is your consultation.

At your liposuction consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss your aesthetic frustrations and goals as well as ask any questions you may have. At your consultation in Miami, Dr. Hadeed will evaluate your condition to determine if liposuction is the right option for you and develop a plan for your procedure.

Depending on the extent of correction needed, you will be given general anesthesia to ensure that you do not feel any pain or discomfort during the surgery.

After the anesthesia has been administered, Dr. Hadeed will make a small incision in the treatment area. A thin tube called a cannula will be inserted through this incision. The cannula is used to loosen the pockets of subcutaneous fat. The loosened fat is then vacuumed out of your body through the cannula. Once the fat is removed, Dr. Hadeed will close your incision(s), and you will be ready to start your recovery.

Liposuction generally takes anywhere from one to three hours to complete.

What Will My Liposuction Recovery Be Like?

After your surgery, you will likely experience some swelling, bruising, and discomfort. These side effects will dissipate over the next several weeks, with minor swelling persisting up to one year after your surgery. Prescription and over-the-counter medications can be taken to alleviate any pain you may have; however, if you experience increased or prolonged pain, it is important that you contact Dr. Hadeed immediately.

Most patients are able to return to work after one or two weeks, depending on the extent of their procedure.

During your recovery period, it is important to rest and allow your body to heal itself. This means refraining from strenuous activity, including exercise and lifting heavy objects. It is essential to follow Dr. Hadeed’s post-surgical instructions to help you achieve better results.

What Results Can I Expect From Liposuction?

Liposuction can help men and women achieve a more contoured body aesthetic. While you may be able to see some improvement to your appearance immediately following your procedure, the swelling will limit the visibility of your results. You can look forward to seeing your final results one to three months after your procedure.

At this time, you can smile at your reflection in the mirror and know that you are turning heads as you walk along the Miami beaches!

Frequently Asked Questions About Liposuction

  • Am I a candidate for liposuction?

If you have stubborn fat that is resistant to diet and exercise, then liposuction surgery may be the procedure you have been looking for. Ideal candidates are non-smoking men and women who are in good general health, at or near their goal weight, and realistic about their results.

If you think you may be a candidate for liposuction, then schedule your consultation with Dr. Hadeed today!

  • Will I have any scars after my liposuction surgery?

Since incisions are required for liposuction, you can expect to have resulting scars. However, Dr. Hadeed tries to make each of his incisions in as inconspicuous a place as possible to limit the visibility of these scars. Additionally, these scars tend to be small in size and will fade over time. Most patients do not have to worry about significant scarring after liposuction.

  • Will liposuction help me lose weight?

While you may lose some weight with the removal of the subcutaneous fat, liposuction is not a weight-loss procedure. It is important to understand that liposuction is not a substitute for diet and exercise. Instead, liposuction is a body contouring procedure to help you achieve a more contoured appearance.

  • Can I combine liposuction with other procedures?

Yes! While liposuction surgery offers stunning results when performed as a standalone procedure, many men and women choose to combine liposuction with other procedures to achieve a more complete and dramatic improvement to their appearance.

Additionally, because of the versatility of liposuction, it is often used in combination with other surgical procedures, such as:

  • Are liposuction results permanent?

Yes. Once the fat is removed from your body, it is gone for good. However, remaining fat cells may grow over time. This is why it is so important to maintain a healthy lifestyle (consistent exercise and a balanced diet) after your liposuction procedure.

  • How much is liposuction in Miami?

Like any plastic surgery or cosmetic procedure, liposuction cost varies with each patient and procedure. This is due to several factors, including the number of areas treated, the amount of fat removed, and whether or not you are combining your liposuction with other procedures. At your consultation, you will be given a cost estimate for your procedure.
