Hi, it’s Dr. Hadeed. As part of the TriDef® body sculpting technique, one of the essential components is to perform skin tightening. And one of the technologies that we employ is called Renuvion®, which utilizes helium plasma to stimulate the collagen underneath the skin and help us achieve firming up of the skin. And the way that the Renuvion® is performed is during the second stage of the TriDef® technique.

We insert the Renuvion® probe underneath the skin, and then we activate the device. And the helium plasma helps to stimulate the collagen underneath the skin. And in real time, we can actually see the skin starting to contract. It’s a very effective device, and it’s something that we do employ and utilize in our TriDef® body sculpting procedure.

These results are permanent, assuming, of course, that the patient maintains an active and healthy lifestyle, exercises regularly, and watches what they eat. Also, it’s important that the patient does not gain or lose a significant amount of weight. One of the remarkable things is that we do see instantaneous results from the Renuvion®, and then the results will continue to improve over time. Typically, by about six to nine months is when the patient can expect to see the full permanent final results.
