Combining Rib Remodeling with Other Surgeries

“Hi, Everyone. Dr. Hadeed here in Beverly Hills. And one question that we’ve been getting asked by a lot of patients is about our rib remodeling procedure and whether or not rib remodeling can be combined with other surgical procedures. And the answer is yes.

So rib remodeling can be performed as a standalone procedure, and it can be combined with other surgical procedures. And most commonly, we would want to combine it with high-definition liposuction, or a tummy tuck, or all the above.

And the reason why it’s a good idea to combine rib remodeling with high-definition liposuction is because liposuction can bring in the waistline by removing fat, but rib remodeling can bring in that waistline even further.

And the same thing goes with the tummy tuck as well. With the tummy tuck, we are contouring the abdomen and the waist. And frequently, we are combining a tummy tuck with liposuction, and adding rib remodeling can also bring in that waistline even further, to further accentuate the results and create a very nice contour.

So, in summary, rib remodeling can be done by itself, but frequently, we do combine it with other procedures such as high-definition liposuction and tummy tuck.”
