Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation surgery is one of the most popular cosmetic surgeries in the world. You may be interested in breast augmentation if your breasts are smaller than you prefer or you desire greater breast symmetry. This procedure uses saline or silicone breast implants to enhance the volume, shape, and projection of the breasts.

Most patients can return to work within a week or two and can resume vigorous exercise within six weeks.

Breast Augmentation With Lift

Mastopexy augmentation surgery is a combined breast lift and augmentation procedure that provides the benefits of both surgeries. This procedure allows patients to enhance the volume of their breasts, reshape them, and lift them higher on the chest.

Most patients can return to work and resume daily activities within two to three weeks of their mastopexy augmentation surgery. The larger, perkier breasts achieved with mastopexy augmentation often last many years, if not decades. However, the breasts will continue to age naturally.

Breast Lift

Breast lift surgery lifts the breasts into a higher position on the chest and eliminates lax skin. This procedure creates firmer, perkier breasts and eliminates breast sagging. It can also reposition nipples that face downward and reduce enlarged areolas.

Most patients can return to work within two to three weeks of their breast lift and can resume vigorous exercise in six weeks.

Breast Reconstruction

Breast reconstruction surgery can restore natural-looking breasts after a patient’s breast tissue is removed due to breast cancer or injury. This procedure uses implants or tissue grafts to recreate the breast mound. Tissue grafts take longer to recover from, but the results tend to last longer than reconstruction with implants.

Breast reconstruction can be performed at the same time as mastectomy or at a later time. A second-stage procedure may be necessary if a patient first needs tissue expanders to stretch their breast tissue to prepare it for an implant. Patients can also undergo surgery on the opposite breast if needed for symmetry.

Most patients can resume daily activities within three to four weeks after their breast reconstruction surgery. For most patients, the results of breast reconstruction are long lasting, if not permanent.

Breast Reduction

Breast reduction surgery removes excess tissue to reduce the size of the breasts. During the procedure, excess skin and tissue are removed, and the remaining tissues are tightened to create a smaller and firmer breast.

You may be interested in a breast reduction for one or more of the following reasons:

  • You are dissatisfied with the appearance of your overly large breasts
  • You are struggling with back or shoulder pain due to the weight of your breasts
  • Your overly large breasts are negatively impacting your quality of life

Most patients can return to work and other daily activities within two or three weeks. The results of breast reduction surgery are effectively permanent as long as the patient maintains a stable weight.

Breast Revision

Breast revision surgery is a secondary procedure that corrects or adjusts the results of a previous breast augmentation. It can be done to correct a complication such as capsular contracture, or it can fix dissatisfactory results.

This procedure has many options based on your concerns. Some options include implant removal, implant replacement, fat injections, and removal of scar tissue. Breast revision can provide beautiful, natural-looking breasts without the adverse effects caused by the initial breast augmentation.

Most patients can resume daily activities about two weeks after surgery depending on the extent of correction needed.
